It’s so simple but sometimes we don’t make this happen.

What do you need?

It’s something that we all need when we are doing something new, going after a goal or getting something finished….it’s a plan.

I know, nothing earth shattering here but it is a vital component to creating more of what you want and a lot of times, we don’t make the time to make a plan and this slows us down. We waste our time, energy and effort when we don’t have a plan.

I did a podcast episode about how I make a plan and share a story about what I do even if the way to achieve my end goal isn’t clear. Hint: you still need a plan.

Listen in.

Make a plan.

When you do this (combined with taking action of course), you will create more of what you truly want. Guaranteed.

If you do anything this week, do this!

ASK!
It’s time to ask. It is the only way to get what you want, learn something new or to move something forward. You have to ASK.

What do you need to ASK this week? Write it down and do it. You won’t regret it. It will help you move forward and get closer to achieving your dreams, desires and goals.

You won’t get it back…

Time. Possibility. Opportunity.

You won’t get this back if you let it pass you by.

The moments in your day matter.

They make up the minutes.

The minutes make up the hours.

The hours make up the day.

And the days make up the years.

All of a sudden (or so it seems), you look up from your life, the daily grind, what you feel busy with daily and realize that so much time has passed (months or even years). And you can’t get it back.

This is where dreams die.

This is why the soul suffers.

This isn’t living.

Living is embracing each moment.

Recognizing the miracle is now.

Understanding that you do control it all and that you can change it all.

Don’t let your dreams die anymore.

Don’t let the moments pass you by.

If you don’t like something in your life right now, take a deep breath and take the first step to change it. You deserve it. You deserve to live the life that you desire most. Stop making everyone else happy and start making you happy. And when you’re happy, it creates a ripple effect that impacts so many more people.

If there is a dream that you’ve been putting off and procrastinating on, decide if you REALLY want it and if you do, it’s time to do it. You don’t know how much time you have left in this life. You can’t waste it anymore on the busy work and what everyone else needs and wants.

Find a way to make time for your dreams. Even if it is just 5 minutes a day. It means that it is 5 minutes more than you spent on that dream yesterday.

Start with small steps.

Commit to using the moments instead of scrolling social media or Netflix. I can guarantee that if you just choose to do more of what you love and excites you and fulfills your purpose, you won’t need the “downtime” and “unwind” time at the end of each day anymore.

Remember this:

EVERYTHING CAN CHANGE. 

And that change starts with you!

One of the ways that I use the moments of my day in the biggest way possible is with my daily routine. It energizes me, it centers me and it makes me more productive. I have something new that I am so very excited to share with all of you! I have been quietly studying and became certified in the ancient hawaiian practice of ho’oponopono. Trust the timing

Remember that the timing is ALWAYS divine even when it doesn’t feel like it.

I got reminded of this today in a very BIG way.

I delayed the launch of a new program last week that will teach an amazing tool for mindset and overcoming limiting belief patterns. I was so excited about it. I couldn’t want to get sharing it with my clients. But then, things just weren’t lining up for it to happen the way I initially planned so I finally surrendered (it took a bit to convince me and to be honest I fought against it) and chose to delay the launch.

Today, I was offered an opportunity to make my training for clients even MORE valuable.

I’m glad I surrendered and didn’t continue to push against the situation because now it will be so much better than it would have been for every single person who chooses to take this life shifting course.

So, if I’m doing this, I know you are too.

Where in your life are trying to ‘push water up hill’, fight against the inevitable or you are ignoring the signs and your intuition to stop or change course?

It’s time to SURRENDER.

And then TRUST, that the timing is always divine and the plan will unfold if you let it.

And then, when it unfolds, take the next step.

Where is your focus?

When we get sick, it’s easy to focus on the ‘effect’ that is happening to us right now. In fact, western medicine tends to treat the ‘effect’ in most cases. You have a pain, they treat location of the pain. You have an infection, they treat the infection only. But, what caused the illness to happen? What was happening in the body, with the immune system, with the gut, with the patient’s stress level and emotions before the ‘effect’ happened?

This is the CAUSE.
This is what also needs to be treated.

And while it seems like you should be putting out the fire right in front of you, the ‘effect’ that is happening currently, that is not all that needs to get looked at and treated.

The cause, the SOURCE, needs to be identified and addressed as well. This is what Functional Medicine does. You treat the symptoms while determining and treating the root cause of the issue. This is how true healing happens.

This concept can be applied to so many things in our lives…

When the child is having a meltdown, you deal with the behavior (the effect) but are you looking at what caused it. It could be a food intolerance, an emotional upset that occurred at school, a lack of sleep, not enough water, etc.

Our partner continues to do things that frustrate us but what is the cause of that. Do they not feel heard, are we just overly stressed and tired or did we not communicate our needs well.

Our business isn’t thriving. Is it really the algorithms or is it because we aren’t really solving the right problem for people or articulating it properly or maybe it’s priced wrong or we aren’t talking about it enough or reaching the right people.

We tend to focus TOO MUCH on the effect and try to heal things from there when we actually need to heal the ROOT CAUSE of the issue.

And when we do that in our health, our relationships and our work, we actually heal the problem.

So, where in your life right now are you treating the effect and not the cause? It’s time to shift your focus.
